Well that didn't work out. Bad weekend to bet against sweeps all around from the looks of the scores.
 
I am going to play the system/program plays pretty much blindly until I lose down to $1000 profit. Saying it that way might seem like I am assuming that is the direction this will go but that isnt the case.

There are just so many variables to consider in baseball and I really want to add to what I was doing last week but I dont want to start tinkering with the simplicity until its absolutely needed. So that is why I said it the way I did.

Another losing 2-3 night ($83).
Losing night but kept it to a minimum and completed 5 more picks in the process.

Wally its been a really long time since I've posted in this thread (if ever) but I'm here to offer some potentially helpful advice.

I'm getting a bad feeling about the Durito 500 and betting bases. The RL sucker bet question you posed in the ARZ +1.5 thread made me realize just how new to baseball betting you are. You basically destroyed hockey and college hoops but I feel a burial in the distance w/ baseball.

Have you considered possibly only making one MLB play a day (your strongest play) to ride out the summer before your strong sports return? Is there a time limit on this challenge that would prevent that?

Another option would be to auto-fade any Swarmy or Blitty baseball plays. That will almost surely result in some positive units.

I never auto-fade or tail. Sure if after I do my work and I see someone who is hot or cold on the same or opposite side I feel better about a particular play but as for blindly re-acting to someone else I just can't do it.

As for a play-a-day that is a very real possibility if I drop below the $1000 mark. Right now I am going to continue as is. I looked back over this thread since the start and I was shocked at how many days were losing days. The one thing though is those losing days were relatively small compared to the winning days.

I was TOTALLY new to hockey this year and basically a rookie at best with college hoops but the system worked over the course of the season. To change this early on would be jumping the gun I think.

I fully intend on winning this challenge and I will adjust as need be along the way. I do appreciate the concern (subliminal negative implant) Daft. After the shit I have given you to be the bigger man is impressive.

P.S. impressed yes, hugging one out, not yet.
 
I have 5 qualifiers today but only 2 of them are unanimous qualifiers. The others are Boston/Baltimore over 9,Seattle/Detroit over 7 in baseball and Buffalo/Philadelphia over 5.5 in hockey but I am passing on those 3.
