There are some areas around where I live where I know that the phone call I'm on will get dropped. It's like clockwork. I will switch to Verizon when my contract is up.

Its good and bad. In NYC its very good never had a problem with it. In SoFla there's some areas that connection gets slow. But in New Orleans it was almost unusable.

I was roaming on AT&T in NOLA and it was crappy as fok.

At least my employer picked up the $220 roaming data/text charges even after I offered to pay for it since it was all personal shit. Having a job is not all bad.

Yeah. Data is another discussion altogether. I'd lose my 3G signal sometimes. It would often stall or get slow. I'd have to switch off 3G and turn it back on (to re-establish a link) about 3 times a day if I was browsing heavily. Pretty annoying when you need certain information quickly.

All I use this smart phones for is for the data, so I prefer a bigger screen, that's why if I will have a bag with me I just take the IPad instead. To talk I always carry a "regular" old phone or two.
