So I had quit smoking for about three months earlier in the year only to start again. What I do makes it really hard to quit. Between stress, a lot of sitting around playing cards, a lot of work on the computer, waiting for numbers, watching games, etc., it's really easy to slip back into it. However, the other day I bought the patch again to give it another go. I'm absolutely sick of waking up with a cashed throat, sore chest, and coughing up shit. Today, not only did I wake up with an empty pack, but some sort of cold as well. It's a perfect time to start the quit. With patch on arm, here goes day one... Again.

Holy fuck! You're fat AND you smoke??? Where is this guy on the death pool cause I want to shove all my chips in.

You seem awful bitter, Daft. Did one of the women you brilliantly tried to deceive go Lorena Bobbitt on your ass, champ?

By the way, thanks for showing up. I really could use a retard to berate right about now.

Day two recap:

Absolute misery. I nearly hit the breaking point last night. At least with the patch, you don't have constant cravings. It was very difficult to get through the day. My sinuses were congested. I had a headache. And, I couldn't stop coughing. My joints feel really weird. Particularly my knees. I'm constantly stretching my legs and sometimes have actual leg spasms. My neck doesn't crack like it used to. It's just fluid movement now. I've gone from hot sweats to shivering in a matter of minutes. It's amazing what effect the chemicals in those things have on your body. I went to sleep at about midnight last night which is extremely early for me. I woke up a few times throughout the night. But I managed to get about 13 hours of sleep altogether. Today, I seem to be feeling much better. It can't get any worse. I think I made it through the worst of it.
