Okay so the rays can't sell out a stadium so mlb will be rigging the rays games and they will make sure they don't get a better record than the yankees because it will cost the mlb a ton of money.

As you probably know the rays gave away 20,000 seats the other day because they have no fanbase so I see no way they will have a better record than the yankees (Better record than the yankees = more home games in the playoffs for the rays)

Expect the yankees to win out and the rays to lose few games and come up short. Yankees may not sweep but u will see that if the yankees lose the rays will lose as well.

The fix is in and don't say you weren't warned.

The Rays are my team. I root for them no matter what. But, the way they are playing they will not win the division. I have made the decision to fade them for the rest of the season and into the playoffs. As far as the fans, I can't say. Normally Tampa is full of 'fair weather' fans. Last time that the Rays made the playoffs they were selling out. Don't know what changed, but bottom line....the Rays are VERY fadeable right now.

I'm not sure who you're saying who the fixer is. If they win the division, the Yankees will play the Rangers and Cliff Lee won both games against them in the WS last year. He is 2-0 over three starts against the Yankees this season, averaging ~7.2 innings each start and is arguably the best pitcher in the game in 2010 - I really don't think the Yankees would like to face him possibly twice in a best of five series.

That sir is false....they didn't even sell out all of the World Series games.

40,000 is considered a sell out.

1 Philadelphia Phillies – 3 Tampa Bay Rays – 2 October 22 Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, Florida 40,783[32]
2 Philadelphia Phillies – 2 Tampa Bay Rays – 4 October 23 40,843[33]
3 Tampa Bay Rays – 4 Philadelphia Phillies – 5 October 25 Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 45,900[34]
4 Tampa Bay Rays – 2 Philadelphia Phillies – 10 October 26 45,903[35]
5 Tampa Bay Rays – 3 Philadelphia Phillies – 4 October 27, 29 45,940[36]

40,000 is considered a sell out.

Wikipedia claims the WS capacity was 40,947 so game 1 and 2 were 99.6% and 99.7% full respectively. Using the if the official attendance is less than the stadium capacity means it's not a sellout metric then the Yankees didn't sell out any of their home games in the 2009 WS either.

What if Tampa, New York and Minnesota all three finish with the same record?

If Tampa and New York finish with the same record then the Rays will win the division since they won the season series. If Tampa and Minnesota finish with the same record then Tampa get home field advantage through the AL playoffs since they own the own the tie breaker against the Twins also.
