I don't need a car at the moment but as a hypothetical, sure, I guess.

I owned a string of Datsuns/Nissans in the past and it was a good experience. In my mind, Toyotas are comparable.

Wot's this all about plommer? The problems with Toyotas accelerating willy-nilly? I have to plead some ignorance. Is that still going on?

I've never owned an import vehicle, as I usually purchase Ford trucks and GM (Buick/Cadillac) cars. However Ray make some good observations about their SUVs and I wouldn't be opposed to buying one if it were the right price. I've never spent more than $12k on any vehicle, and I'm hoping that precedent holds until I die.

Yes a Toyota is the best running car make there is, ive only owned 3 vehicles in my short life but Ive seen parents have so many problems with volvo's and nissans other makes. I had a camry for 4 years and never did anything to it besides oil change and break change once. And i drove it from 50k miles to 120k miles.

Im getting ready to buy a new car around New years when i get my "Real" license back and it will be between a Camry or a 2008 Lexus IS350. Both engines are made by toyota so cant go wrong with either.

I'm pretty Mazda 3 bias myself. They are great cars. Zoom zoom.

If I needed a truck I would probably get a Toyota though or maybe a Dodge.

Dodge is the worst possible car you can ever buy, if you go over 70k miles your fucked and you wonder why the charger is the quickest depreciation make of all time. goes from 25 to 5k in 40k miles lmfao

My truck if/when I get one (I love State College giveaways) = Toyota

Ty UTEOT

I dont care for new trucks in general. They seem to be more fiber glass and plastic than metal these days. Even the smaller toyotas just look over sized with that big thick black piece of plastic they all seem to have as a bumper. The 4 runners still look very nice and run forever.
