This won't sound too sharp but to me just by feel and off the top of my head it favors the Caps just because the Pens are pretty much a 2 man team imo (OK include Letang if you want).

Right now the UNDER 5.5 looks like it might be the play, if ice conditions are poor (ie watery/slushy) then the flow of the game will be affected, plus there will be added stoppages (interruptions) in the game for maintenance and cleaning of the ice surface.

Making crisp "tape to tape" passes will be made more difficult because of bad ice.

Pavy I believe you are watching a replay of the game between Buffalo and Pitt, todays game was moved from an afternoon start to a night start due to mild weather.

I guess the scheduled TV time slot for the hockey game had to be filled with something.

Washington is 4-1 against Pitt in their last 5 meetings with 4 of those games going well OVER the total and 3 of them going extra time.

The weather is something that just can’t be predicted though. As Plommer said, if it is slow ice then obviously the UNDER would look like the correct play.
