Okay I know it is a sport and should be listed as one because its hard work!I cheer.
Athletes lift weight and we lift athletes!
We have to be sharp and insync with everything
Tumble
We compete
And have to learn things in short periods.
and look happy while doing it!
Cheer is the most dangerous sport out there! But still it dosen't get the proper respect.
I bet the people who say its not a sport couldn't even last one day doing it and being perfect.
welll just tell me why you think its not a sport and is.
Don't just say its easy to yell and wave poms poms but that's not even half of it look up stunting,Cheer leading,Tumbling ,and cheer competitions on youtube can you fly that high in the air balancing on one foot? Tell me how it dosen't me the standards of a sport because i think it does heres some facts:
The truth is, there really isnt a solid definition of official sport.
When necessary, the office of Civil Rights makes this determination on a case by case basis. The Womens Sports Foundation has narrowed the field down of what is considered a sport to these elements that are commonly agreed upon to define a sport
