You could also get a snake trap, and once trapped, place in black cloth bag, and release else where, or kill it, or have animal control or whomever come for it. good luck ray!

I love snakes, but if wants rid of it, it's either animal control, kill it, or relocate it.
First step ray is to identify it, if it's not poisonous you can just leave it, a spider that small, even if it did bite you, doesn't really hurt.

cami, i am almost certain it is a cotton mouth, quite painful and poisonous bite and although you would think he is just as scared of me, before i stepped foot on that concrete area to mess with my pool filter, i looked everywhere for him... 20 seconds later he shows up right under me with his tongue flickering, so apparently this fuck aint all that scared

as soon as i got about 5feet away with the shovel in the air, he went down in the crack like i knew he would...i really cant take a chance on fucking up something with that shovel either...fuck

I would recommend a snake trap, not exactly where you see him commonly, but very close - or at least as close as you can stand to get to the location.

I had one in my yard too, I just prodded at him a bit till he took off into someone else's yard

Then he came back the next day and hung out for about 3 days in the same spot, now he's gone again
