if he'd stiffed me and just disappeared that would be one thing. This dude made promise after promise after promise, he even got pissed at me because, "I'm not going to stiff someone over $50!". His last post across the street was about finding a new poker game in NYC and it just got me thinking that maybe he started posting under a different handle.

It's a win win situation actually. He can keep the money and I never have to deal with his dumb ass again.
It was funny to hear a guy make up stories to somebody that weighs odds for a living. Kind of interesting experiment actually.

Same way you loan someone money to that doesn't pay you back when they said they would and then they get insulted that you asked them for it. I don't loan money out anymore!

Real example of last time someone asked me for money. Guy said, "you got $10 I can borrow, give it back on Friday" Of course I had 1, 5, 10s in my wallet. I said, "no, all I got is a 20 till payday" He says, "give me the 20 and I'll give you a 10"

Steam was coming out of my ears. Some people got nerve. Don't think he'll ever ask me again for money?
