On the other hand, I'm sure that that place semi-regularly sells very expensive bottles.

I'm not entirely convinced that the waitress acted maliciously. If anything she misjudged her customers.

I don't think I would ever find myself in such a pickle, but if I did I would not have paid, not even the $2,200 compromise. Let them call the cops and see what they say.

my wife got a deal on 3.99 per bottle for 6 bottles of barefoot brand wine

when we go to michigan we usually go to a winery or two and get 12-24 bottles of wine that i think is way too much when it is 14.99

slim fucking chance they sell many bottles that expensive or more expensive...and sell none of that high priced stuff to people that have to ask for a recommendation because they dont drink wine... probably some expensive shit is comped, but it doesnt happen often..

when a guy tells her to pick a wine because he doesnt know anything about it, it means he wants something normal (or relatively cheap), not some ridiculous 3750 whoreshit... she was 100% trying to fuck them whilst being vague on the price and was only thinking of a tip... i would pay for dinner and $37.50 for the bottle and left them a firm "fuck you and your scamming cunt waitress" ...
