What software best protects against porn viruses?

My Windows was ruined the past few days so I bought Windows 7 after work today.

What is good software to use for virus protections etc...

HiJackThis - Checks everything that is running on your system.

Spybot Search & Destroy - Cleans spyware.

Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware - Cleans spyware.

CCleaner - Helps you to really clean your system.

If you were attacked by a virus, make sure to update the definitions and run both scans daily for a week or so. Sometimes, the virus likes to hang around a bit.

Since Norton 9, it has become a very solid program. They completely redesigned it. I agree it use to be terrible but it is great now. If you read the reviews now, you will see it is rated as one of the best programs out there. If you look around you can usually find it for free after rebate.

Or, if you happen to get your internet from Comcast, they just started providing it for free. If you haven't looked at Norton the last year or so, you might want to.

I haven't looked at them in years. I used to use Norton but as mentioned above, it slowed things down too much.

AVG is providing good protection for my computer.
