So that's appalling and disgusting - given - so moving on from that, I can't help but wonder about applications in crime investigation and interrogation of war criminals.

They touched on it very briefly but only in the context of experiments many decades ago.

I'd be curious to know more about that. Simple example: authorities have apprehended some scumbag and he is responsible for a missing person who may be dead or alive, maybe every second counts ----> make him take a dose and take you to that missing person.

I have a feeling all the 'truth serum' examples we see in movies over the years has some ties to this stuff.

Well they always talk about sodium pentathol - but I have seen some educated discussion of that and sounds like it's pretty unreliable.

This stuff sounds like the the hammer of god. Sure, the subject could die. Don't do it to anyone you care about dying. Obviously do it with more science than a typical 21 year-old ho would use robbing a trick.

But I would say, go for it if the circumstances are right.
