Major League Baseball is obviously letting players slide when it come to steroids and HGH.

Players are getting the heads up or passes as far as testing is concerned.

It is mathematically impossible for Manny to be one of the only ones, and now he gets caught again???

Manny has too much money to get caught twice..

How powerful are the Redsox?

Something doesn't add up here...

Neifi Prez was caught and suspended three times, that's even more mathematically impossible.

Manny has too much money to get caught twice..

In the baseball world, there is little correlation with money and sense.

Neifi had no other choice, he was the oddest looking ballplayer Ive ever seen... and the worst...

As far as Manny goes, when you have money like him, you have people getting you the best drugs, best masking agents.. etc etc...

Manny was the most aloof rich ballplayer. He would be the one guy that would buy his own drugs just to save money so he didn't have to pay a middle man. This is the same guy that would leave his paychecks in his glove compartment for months at a time. Nothing that he does would surprise me now.

People who don't do direct deposit weird me out.

i could be totally wrong about this and please dont quote it or any of that, but i seem to recall from my cousin, who is an equipment manager for the padres, that once you fail a random test, you can get tested anytime the league pleases...it doesnt have to be random anymore...

again, i could be completely wrong, but this seems like what i recall from a convo i had with him back when sosa got busted

I understand the guy isnt very swift... All the more reason to pay for the best "help"...

and I'm pretty sure we haven't heard the last from Manny....He is free to spill the goods now, should be interesting.

I do not see him spilling anything. He wasn't much of a talker before and I doubt he is going to start now.

The Major League Baseball’s Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program states that all players are tested within five days of reporting for Spring Training so this in all probability wasn't even a random test.

1. In-Season Testing. During each championship season covered by this
Program (which, for purposes of this Section only, shall commence with the first
spring training voluntary reporting date and conclude with the final day of the
post-season), all Players shall be tested for the presence of Performance
Enhancing Substances and Stimulants as follows:

(a) Each Player shall be tested within five days of reporting to spring
training. Collections under this Section 3.A.1(a) will be made in
conjunction with the Clubs’ spring training physicals, to the extent
practicable for the collecting entity and taking into consideration the
facilities utilized by the Club for its spring training physicals.

(b) All Players will be selected for an additional unannounced test on a
randomly selected date.

Manny is a fucking idiot.

I remember once he got pulled over for speeding while playing for the Indians. The cop told Manny he was going to get a ticket, Manny said something along the lines that he already had tickets to the game.
