So I admit, I am kinda a hotel snob. I spend about 3 nights a week in a hotel, so I definitely know what it takes to have a place. I am down here in Ft. Lauderdale for the weekend and this place just flat out stinks.
I am a Hilton guy as I have so many points that I generally alway stay at the Hilton family properties. Not to mention, they seem to do an above average job and demand a little more than some of the other chains. Well not this time. We are staying at a Hampton Inn in downtown Ft. Lauderdale and this place SUCKS.
The air conditioning in the room doesn't really make it cooler as much as it makes it more and more humid. The Bathroom floor is sticky. The pillows were awful last night. The water pressure in the bathroom sink comes out like dribble. The breakfast area was a disaster and they were out of most things (not to mention the cold hash browns). I could probably go on and on but you get the point.
We are still staying here for 2 more nights and I guess its an "alright" place to just sleep and the location is nice but that is about all...
/end rant
