I just heard someone predicting that the Lakers will take game 6. That's fine. I have no problem with that. The Lakers are a good team that has done some winning. It's not an insane prediction.

But the main reason given?

The Lakers don't want the series to go to a game 7. It would be too precarious so they don't want it. So that's why they'll win tonight. That's the reason.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too bad the Suns don't have wants of their own. They should really think about wanting something.

Like to counteract the Lakers not wanting a game 7, the Suns should think about wanting a game 7.

Seriously WTF is wrong with these talking heads? I don't even want to name the individual because I hear this shit all the time.

Bunch of long-haired pot-smoking hippies.

First point Muddy, is in my opinion there is nothing wrong with being a long haired pot smoking hippy.

second point most sports analysis know sports from watching there fellow sports analysis's and don't know a god damned thing. I would think if your a team up 3 0 in a series you don't want a game 5. I think most teams go out every night WANTING to win. Sometimes wanting is not enough you need to do and do better than your opponent. Do they not think their opponent WANTS to win. Yes sometimes, especially last month of NBA or last week of NFL when the game really means nothing the starters get rest to be "fresh" for the playoffs. For the most part no team goes out with an IDGAF attitude in the playoffs.

You really are a crotchy old man now muddy.

BTW Nash called and says he really doesn't care about game 7 until he wins game 6 LOL.

It's true - I am crotchety and overly harsh. The analyst was making the astute point that the Lakers will try in game 6.

Who knows if the Suns will think of that? Everyone says Phil Jackson is a genius. Maybe he has thought of trying where it wouldn't occur to a lesser coach like Alvin Gentry.

I like when they look at a match-up and try to debate which team has more pressure on them. Like prior to last night's Magic/Celtics game:

"The Celtics have much more pressure because look at what just happened to the Bruins coughing up a 3-0 series lead in the same city. The Celtics don't want that to happen to them."

Lummoxes.
