Sorry pal im not buying that reasoning, not even for .99 cents.

Even with all the forensic and surveillance rechnologies of today the fact is there are tens of thousands of unsolved murders that are either current or cold cases that will never be solved, even with unlimited resources.

I wish it wasn't so but the realist within accepts it for what it is.

Also im still waiting for the version of COPS where the criminal doesnt get caught.

All in the interests of perceptual objectiveness to the viewer of course.
