I want to start today by asking a question. How can a team be given a -1.5 PUCK LINE yet be a +101 dog at home on the MONEY LINE? This is the case with the Saint Louis Blues tonight unless Pinnacle made a mistake that is. If they truly are an underdog why wouldnt the road team be the -1.5 PUCK LINE listing?

Todays Options:

NCAA Basketball

Yougstown St +18
Florida Atlantic -4.5
Arkansas Little Rock +7
Austin Peay +14
Arizona -17.5

NHL

Ducks/Islanders UNDER 5.5 (-117)
Bruins/Canadiens UNDER 5 (-102)
Senators/Wild OVER 5 (-132)

Plommer, I'm glad you agree but how about answer the question that was asked that you didn't read.
Plommer, I am happy to help you make a profit this hockey season but read the damn thread and stop just grabbing the winners.

Minor thing. Borderline situation. Speculating here but maybe when the line opened, they were the ML favorite and so they were put on the -1.5 side of the puckline and it is programmed not to switch until it moves a certain amount on the plus side.

I'm sure you can get them both +1.5 and -1.5 anyway.

Thanks Muddy. I had no intentions of playing the game in that capacity it just struck me as odd. First time I had seen that situation which doesn't mean much.

With both Muddy and Plommer popp'n boners I guess we have our play.

Today's Plays:
Ducks/Islanders UNDER 5.5 (-110)

I will also most likely be on Florida Atlantic but the line isn't available yet at RebateWager.

Too hot Muddy, both books graded Florida Atlantic as a loser.
I had them at -4.5 at both books.
Now I have to go through the customer service crap to get it corrected.

Muddy, WE have been hot lately. It's been a combined effort. Sure I cap the games that get listed as options but it is you and everyone else that lends an opinion that narrows them down. Some night most of the options are solid some night only a couple but we have been doing a decent job at getting more winners than losers.

yup, same here, although I had to plead push rather than win. Nice work Wally.

Both books have corrected their error and even without me contacting them. I guess at the end of regulation it was just a quick mistake.

Muddy, I am convinced that the simplicity of what I am doing to select my options is what's key here. It's almost like not even knowing who is playing. Being informed about Pinnacle has helped as well. Seeing the prices there (even though I don't FULLY understand what I'm looking at) and matching them with what my stat capping says is really working.

The biggest thing though is knowing nothing about the sport. The less I know the better I am because I bring an open mind and no bias to the numbers.
