came out strong but i find myself bored here...

not trying to put down juror cause he worked hard to egt this up but we have to admit our weaknesses before we can expand and better ourselves...


Im going to start(continue) my NBA daily thread for fade material, and we need more sports talk on the forums.

Theres no in-game talk or anything of the such,

Maybe this place was just made for guys that got banned to communicate but we can keep it semi into sports and sportsbook talk.

Lets get this going....

In defense of gamelive, the past 4 weeks is notoriously the most boring time of the year for sports.

No March Madness, NO BASEBALL, no NFL etc.


I know a hockey guy will come in here and tell us that we have hockey. Fuck hockey ok. Fuck it all night long like Lionel Ritchie.


So this place will perk up with MLB starting up, the NBA playoffs and World Cup in June. I know Jello, Bread and I are pretty big into bases so things are looking up.
 
Gamelive is what it is...we are a board of the ppl who are too fuckin cool to post anywhere else...with a sprinkle of guys who post elsewhere as well.

I think Gamelive has laid down a good foundation for the social networking angle. I really enjoy the forum. I wouldn't care if it never got bigger.

I kind of assume someone probably does want it to grow though. I can see a blueprint in my mind. With some consistent effort, it could be established as a top place to discuss sportsbook and industry topics. I almost want to do this myself as a hobby project but I already have a business to run plus my own hobby project or two.

Same with straight sports talk. The topics are out there; they just aren't being presented consistently.

There are other obvious things that can be done towards growth. There is the controversial issue of morons. People who start topics or make comments that are just stupid enough to create an itch that people have to scratch it by way of correcting the moron. Noise-for-the-sake-of-noise. Morons can create all kinds of activity.



But as I said at the outset, I like it here. I like the slower pace. I am not interested in morons. It is the least boring forum I know by far. If it doesn't want to push change, I am good with that.
