Sad to hear. I remember him as the most distinguished looking coach in Toronto. Back when their team was one of the best in the league. Let's see, Andrychuck, Gilmour, Borschevsky, Wendyl Clark. Those were some good teams.

Burns took a turn for the worse and was hospitalized - and Leafs adviser Cliff Fletcher told reporters at Leafs training camp that Burns had died.

The report was false. Burns in fact has returned home from the hospital.

After Fletchers initial declaration, Kevin Dixon, Burns close friend, said, Pat says he is not dead yet.

Hey all, just talked to Pat, and he is grocery shopping, Dixon said in an email.

Fletcher has apologized but jayzuz.

Plommer how much did you pay for that hooker in your avatar?

That chick looks like Robyn.....

Now back to the point.... Most Canadians and hockey fans love Pat Burns..... I see pictures of him now and it's just sad what cancer does to a person..... if you haven't had the experience to deal with that consider yourself lucky.....I have been to more funerals because of cancer than anything else I would say......
