Things which the generic version doesn't seem so bad:

Frozen wings

I disagree. You had a good experience with generic cigarettes and a bad one with generic adult diapers then? In my experience the cigarettes tasted like shit and the diapers fully contained several explosive bowel movements.

Yeah that sucks. You know something tastes like shit when even alcohol doesn't make it better.

I've never tasted a good generic Coke. I've tried so many versions and they're all ass.

If someone actually cracks Coke's recipe and finally produces a great copy, they'll be billionaires.
