rays at mariners: best pitching matchup of the light schedule. like a square, originally though under with shields and hernandez on the mound. talked myself into the reverse run-line on this one, tampa bay -1.5, +165, for a dollar.
rays 5-0 when shields pitches on road and won all five by two+ runs. have more faith in rays scoring 4 than mariners scoring 4, think it's a 4-2 game, in favor of tampa obviously.
astros at padres: houston has been hitting and i love chunky bud norris, but he has sucked pond water on the road. biggest concern for padres is they still have a game tonight and then a long flight back to west coast.
simply like stauffer and pads bullpen more than norris and astros relievers in this one. houston closer has worked last 2 days, he will be available but if used think san diego all day long on friday. padres -1.5, +165, for a dollar.
