Pitch was called a strike, and so was the pitch that hit the replacement batter on the hand.

That's a three pitch strikeout that hit two different batters.

Anyone seen that before?

No way that has ever happened.

I'm in the middle of an argument right now with a brain surgeon who doesn't understand that the final pitch to Reed Johnson can't be called the 3rd strike because the ball clearly either

A) hit the batter

Or

B) hit the bat
