I'm interested on hearing opinions on the good and bad things in reference to Rebate Wager.

I get the feeling that the only positive things about Rebate Wager that we'll hear will come from the direction of Wally Ballz but maybe I'll be suprised.

durito's input should be very interesting.

Wally do they still do 10-cent lines in MLB?

I'm not considering it but a close friend (who is not in on any forum drama) is.
If its a close friend you should do one of the following:

a) Talk him out of it.
b) Talk him out of it.
c) Talk him out of it.

5Dimes is rated A+ and is probably the best overall sportsbook for US resident recreational players.

But I want to know WHY

Should I tell him that my buddy Plommer told me that Blackie made some douchy comments on a website?
Daft, there are better books than RW, do you really need to be convinced of that?

Daft, I could probably find some links to answer your question but I really don't feel like looking it up right now.

you'd have to be crazy to deposit there

I got a few fps and they kept rounding everything down. for like a week it was fixed, and then it went right back to rounding down. Pain in the ass finding lines to bet on where I wouldn't get screwed out of 40 cents.

then they had a ton of restrictions and made you click ok on a popup listing all the extensive rules before you could even bet.

blackie's response would be "screw you, you don't deposit money", but I don't deposit money into sites until I check them out first, in most cases.

the whole attitude from the top down is off there.

I like 5 Dimes and DSI. Rebatewager isn't getting my action.

my thoughts exactly.
DSI, Betonline, 5Dimes I would recommend over RW.
Betonline had a $250 deposit get $250 freeplay when I deposited. it was avertised on SBRs review page. I talked to CS and they didnt want to honor the bonus but did after I referred them to the SBR add.
$250 isnt nothing to most of you rich fuks but its a better bonus than anywhere else I found.
DSI had a deposit $100 get $100 freeplay at the same time.

This answer >>>>>>>>>>> Plommer's answer.

Plommer, you lose tonight.

Thanks Enigma

From what I see, Rebatewager is just fine. They seem to be doing a good job with payouts. Unfortunately (last I checked) they don't have Moneybookers so that is a minus for me. But they treated me well when I played there.

I would put it in a category with Justbet. Low limits, sporadic opinionated lines, occasional good bonuses, decent job on payouts. Recreational book.

I personally don't care about them rounding down the cents. Actually my only experience playing there for awhile has been freeplays I have won in a contest - where they always gave me a few dollars more than I had actually won. But whatever. It's all just pocket change being shifted around.

Blackie's forum antics catch him a lot of flack - and I have seen some unimpressive stuff from him - but no more than hundreds of other guys who get forgiven over and over.

maybe its just me, but it seems like if you deposit into a book that offers you money back on your losses, you are basically throwing in the towel before the fight starts... its as if you are saying you know you cant cap for shit and will never win, but might as well get some of your money back after the asswhoopin... besides the negative attitude about the place, for a $25-$100 bettor, i dont see anything wrong with blackies outfit...but it would just be silly to play there when there are so many better books
