I saw Durito ask Herman a bit ago if his bet was going to win and Herman had a confident answer.


This is the thread to ask the Hermanator some questions.



Herman - Do you think you could take Venditto in a fight?

and

Herman - Who is your favorite UK player of all time?
 
1. Venditto would probably kick my ass, I'd say he has a 20-30 pound edge on me. I'd kick Sammy's ass though, he is about my weight.

2. That question has gone through my head many times and I've never been able to come up with a slam dunk answer. The player would have to be from the 2000s era, because it was when I was old enough to discover the UK message boards in about 8th or 9th grade is when I became addicted to following their every move. I'd say Keith Bogans though, because that is who I pretended I was when playing basketball in the driveway growing up. My favorite UK player in the NBA is either Rondo or Kelenna Azubuike, never been much of a Tayshaun Prince fan post-Kentucky.
 
Herman how many times have you watched the greatest college game ever on Classic? UK vs. Duke.

I was a bit younger than you are now and remember watching that game like it was yesterday with some friends at my house.

We went apeshit about 30 different times. Sean Woods was unreal that game. The Laettner shot was sick.
 
No clue Herman. Only ran brackets and would do handshake bets with friends back then. No idea what the line was. I'd say it's a safe bet KY covered. They were just coming off their big NCAA punshment and were a slapped together team with no big stars, vs. Laettner, Hurley, Grant Hill etc etc.

Yep, those 3 years coming off probation are regarded as the fans favorite UK teams of all time.

theres only one place i've seen in colombia that consistently has jack daniels and somehow its in the small little town i live (it's really just a suburb of medellin, a big city, now, but where i live was and still is like a little old latin american pueblo town) --- he must stock it just for me, I can't imagine anyone else pays $38 when they can get ron medellin for $12 or arguadiente for $8. it's a little stall thingy on the side of the street, i'll snap a pic sometime.

everything else i buy in a big box store that looks like it's right out of suburban usa. odd contradictions here like you've never seen
