For some reason on my main computer, whenever I go to maximize a streaming video like on YouTube, it doesn't work. The whole screen just goes white.

I'm not sure I am using good terminology. I am talking about when you click a small video box to make it expand to full screen. My screen just goes white (and I have to ctrl-alt-delete to reset it at the small size).

It just started about a week ago. It's annoying. Is this a common problem with a simple solution?

Hmm. There only seem to be two options for resolution, 800x600 and 969x768.

Mine is set at the latter. I don't know if that is good or bad but I was not having this problem at that resolution for a long time.

Well, I'm presuming I have been at that resolution for a long time.

969x768 ?

That is not a proper resolution. THe correct resolution is 1024 x 768.

Any way, sounds like the "device driver" should be "updated" at least.

More than likely just changing settings will fix the problem.

Muddaaaaay! If you need step by step guidance fixing this I can probably help.

I don't know what to tell you. That's what I am seeing. There is another issue with this computer that may be related to improper resolution but I just live with it. If I started new threads about every little issue I would be a major forum pest. My whole life is one big technical problem.
