Teams that have given FSU trouble in the ACC are Miami and Boston College, both teams that are heavy into three point shooting...VCU fits this mold. Florida State is BAD at hitting their free ones (66%) and tend to turn the ball over, whereas VCU is much better at taking advantage of turnovers and not giving it up as much. In what should be a close game, this will be important down the stretch. These kids are still playing with a chip on their shoulder and Vegas makes them a dog after crippling 3 pretty decent teams. Gimme the points.
Although I initially leaned Marquette and I think they actually have a decent shot at winning this game outright, I chose the UNDER and I'll explain why. Marquette scores a lot of their points in the paint. Too bad with the Heels size they won't be able to do too much of that tonight. They may get forced to the outside which should result in longer possessions and more than likely less points because they will be out of their game. Marquette held Xavier and Syracuse both UNDER 70 points each which is saying something. With the number starting at 147 then climbing to 151 now going down a bit I have to think the UNDER is the play here. Marquette should play just enough defense to keep them in this one and they know they can't win this game at a fast pace so that should turn into less possessions assuming they can dictate the pace.
