Might be a homer with the Spiders but today looks like a winning wager. Thought it would be Ariz St -2-3 but started at PK late last night and went quickly to Rich -2 and now late action has it back to PK and some Rich +1. I never will figure that stuff out!
This Sun Devil team is the perfect setup for the Spiders to leave the desert with a win. Ariz St have talented wing men but no height inside to speak of. Following Richmond over the years and even with the quality teams of late still one of the worst rebounding teams in the country giving up 2nd chance after 2nd chance.
Richmond now has talented players who are able to go out and guard the perimeter without worrying about packing it in to help rebound. Ariz St like always will have to hope the Spiders aren't hitting their 3's with that pack it in (especially this year with no height) match up zone they use.
Kevin Anderson one of the best point guards in the country and hopefully 6-10 Justin Harper uses his height advantage to go inside on the smaller team?
Early noon game in the desert and don't expect many fans at today's game like their would be during the Pac10 season. Normally you look at a PK game between these 2 teams and say Ariz St at home no problem. The Spiders are the better team, just hope they prove it today! Just got it ML -110 at BM.
Richmond beat a very good Purdue team last Saturday in Chicago before losing at Old Dominon after controlling the entire game before blowing a 9 point lead with 8 minutes to go. If anyone wants to catch a few minutes game is on Fox Channel Sports Pacific at 2 PM EST.
