I just learned today that my local team (Sacramento Monarchs) folded in the off-season. Somehow that news totally passed me by. My favorite WNBA player, Ticha Penicheiro, apparently ended up with the Sparks having eluded the dispersal draft. So while I don't have a bet on them, I'm rooting for Los Angeles.
