What does -1.5 and -2 -127 mean (these are Pinnacle's odds)

-1.5 and -2 -127 means that 1/2 your bet is on a line of -1.5 and the other 1/2 at -2.

For a total of 2.75, this means 1/2 the bet is on 2.5 and 1/2 on 3.

For soccer going from 2.5 to 3 is too much, same for 0.5 to 1. So the quarter ball was invented, like raiders explained.
