Haven't had satellite in several years, but I remember it would cut off completely during snowstorms, and it would be iffy during light snowfall.

I think part of the issue is the snow that accumulates ON the dish.

How is satellite tv reception when it snows? Does it cut off a lot? Here in South Florida even with rain the signal is pretty strong, it takes a pretty heavy rain for it to cut off. How is it with snow?

Snow is fine. Ice is a major problem. When they ice up you'll be out there with a long nigger-rigged object banging the ice of it.

When it Storms hard here it'll cut out. When the snow accumulates on it, it'll cut out. Other then that no problems. Our satellite is not on the roof though, it's next to the house so cleaning it off is easy peasy.
