How so? Did you purposely give out your address?

Nah. When my son first got sick again and I started posting more regularly, a few posters took a chance and figured out my email address. They flooded my inbox with pictures of dead babies, women getting raped and tortured, little girls messing around with old men - that kind of lovely stuff.

All of that's stopped now but my address obviously was passed around. It's all good though - the people who write me now are all cool for the most part and I probably would have given them my address anyway since I have to a few other posters. I've had the address for over 10 years or I would have just deleted the account long ago.

Wow. Can you name any of the posters that sent you those awful pics?

No clue. They always came from different Gmail addresses. Usually it would just be a quote of something I posted and then a picture with some nasty comment.

I wish I knew though. Not like I'd do anything, or even could, do anything about it but I'd be curious to see who the sick fuckers are. I even had quite a few friends look at their comments and try to see if we could match it with any posters' writing styles but we could never figure it out. The good thing is, it doesn't happen anymore since the majority of the photos were really upsetting.

This is amazing timing. I woke up this morning and was reading through some of the threads. I noticed for the first time just how intoxicated some of you actually get (Bread and mmike) and it got me to thinking. How easily one of you could be taken from us and because of the anonimity most of us would never know. I know that's a tad morbid but it is a reality all the same.

We need to impose a buddy system around here. Pair up and exchange contact information so in the event one of us doesn't show up without notice for a few days that persons buddy can check on him/her to see what's up.

Yeah yeah I know we shouldn't care.

Also in doing these buddy-ups spouses shouldn't be the partner. For instance the X's, what if Mrs. X were to get injured in a roller match and on the way to the hospital Mr. X finds spots an exact duplicate door to replace the one they had just laying on the side of the road and decides to grab it on the way to the hospital. As he is getting said door a rabbid dog attacks and now Mr. X and Mrs. X are both in the hospital and we are all left in the dark.

We need a buddy system round here.

I don't normally do that Wally - today there were just too many and I figured the majority of them would be about either Cougar or Herman so I just gave up on it all. Usually we're talking about gambling stuff but things have gone a bit astray in the past day or two.

If you send me a PM over there, I'll send you my email address.

Shari if I mail you I can assure you it will not be about forum drama and the like. It won't be about gambling habits and such. Shari if I mail you it will be about life. I am all about positive life experiences Shari.

Shari are you the type of woman that wants to experience life? Are you the sort that doesn't want to wake up one day and realize she has missed out on some of lifes most wonderful experiences? Shari, I am one of lifes experiences. Don't wake up one day and let Wal be one of you missed opportunitites.

Let's ease the load on Shari boys. She's already caring for a sick child and try to be on Skype and two or more forums at the same time. Now you want to bombard her with emails. Maybe she needs to hire a publicist first or a nanny.

:lmao:

When I'm online at all, my son's either asleep or falling asleep on my shoulder. He's on some pretty hardcore medication that knocks him out for 18+ hours a day but that's why I don't really sleep - not only do I have to make sure to wake him up to feed/change/stimulate him, but I'm paranoid that something will happen to him if I close my eyes for any length of time.

Tully - thank you. It's been a long couple of months but I'm positive things are getting better now.

Wally - I would hate to miss out on the Wally experience. Sign me up!!

Bread - you're alright in my books too.
