Setting goals and drinking

Well. I didn't drink for 2 years until Mexico and then I realized that I kind of enjoy it. I was doing it quite a bit when I got back from the trip, (relative to never which was pre-trip) and had to say no more of that during the week at least, and it was not difficult. However, at the level at which you drink and the length of time you have drank, I think it would be hard.

Are you asking if you can set goals instead of going cold turkey? Cut down number of drinks per night? More info needed.


And there was a similar thread to this not too long back that may or may not be relevant to your situation...if it is I may look for it. There were different schools of thought.

I don't drink during the week...Generally only on Saturdays.

However I don't have to work tomorrow...first Friday session probably in months.


What I meant is...leaving the vodka alone tonight as I have probably drank vodka for each of my last 8 Saturday sessions....
