Spread holding steady at CHI-10.

It appears that Seattle +10 is getting most of the public money and I gotta say, I am with the public. Chicago is a nice team but I don't see them as the kind of juggernaut that gets favored by those kind of numbers.

Seahawks for me bro.
 
Have no clue Muddy as to what will go on since I can't pick my nose when it comes to the NFL. MrsM saved me money with not playing the Falcons last night. Not a Bear's fan so will root for the Seahawks since it would be outrageous to see Seattle hosting the NFC championship game!
 
As with most games there are stats to support either side.

Here are a couple I saw:

All of Seattles losses this season were by 15 or more points.

QB's making their first career post season start are 1-10 vs the spread.

I'm sure almost all of those were against much better teams and defenses than seattle

and that stat doesn't make sense. it must be for only the past X amount of years

every QB that ever started a playoff game had to make his first start at some point

I don't disagree with what you say. The main gist of my post was that there are stats to support playing either side.

Me personally, I try to avoid laying points but will today as I am on both home favourites.
