Kinda sad news to wake up to! You could tell while in Philly he and his family alway thought of Toronto as still home! Thought he was going to try to come back in Feb 2014 after really resting the arm! I guess losing his velocity he couldn't turn himself into a different kind of pitcher!

Loved every minute he was in Philly and sure wish the Phillies would have gotten him a WS ring! CLASS ACT all way round! Remember when he was not pitching well for awhile said something like I'm not earning my 20 million! He gets it! Know Fiver will be very sad to hear this!

Yes he will Bacon! Doesn't bother one way or the other when most pros call it a day but this guy was special!

Roy was a class act and extremely popular in Toronto.

He will always be a Blue Jay.
