B4 i begin quick shout-outs to the fischmeister and roguey roguey, without whom this dastardry would not have been made possible....
Friday Morning
Pies Vs Cats: These two teams are playing so well at the moment that i dont see either side dropping a game, but, someone has to lose...Or do they? Draw anyone?? BUT, if u were to force me to be clear as mud then cant go past the Geelong Cats (-117 ML)
Saturday Morning:
Kangaroos Vs Bulldogs: Seriously, where are all the North Melbourne fans who wanted to keep their team in town? Wayne Carey wouldn't have bothered playing before a crowd of less than 20,000 in his heyday. Now, Daniel Wells has to put up with fewer fans than Kyle Sandilands. Adam Cooney and Co. quite enjoy the bright lights so stage fright shouldn't be a problem. Bulldogs all the way..
Swans Vs Dockers: The Dockers have been everywhere. They've been to Brisbane, Woolloongabba, Melbourne, that's MCG and Etihad, out of Perth, back to Perth and now they're off to Sydney. Surprised Tullamore, Seymour, Lismore, Mooloolaba, Nambour, Maroochydore, Kilmore, Murwillumbah and Birdsville haven't been on the list of places to visit in 2010. Harvey's travelling troupe were jaded against the Magpies. Will another flight east hinder them? I ask the questions around here, you give me the answers ...Early Lean is on Dockers but will keep posters updated when the time draws nearer...
Bombers Vs Tigers: Come on Richmond sufferers, come out and tell how stiff your mob was against Hawthorn on Sunday. I felt for you and now I am here for you Tigers are on the improve and have won 7 of the last 9 encounters between the two sides but can just as easily see the Bombers blowing this out by 7+ goals...
Port Adelaide Vs Demons: Daniel Motlop, the magic man from Alberton was back near his brilliant best in patches last weekend and should thrive in the Top End. If only Liam Jurrah was fit, this highlight reel would be worth watching. Who can be relied on to lift the Dees in Darwin? Port should take the points in the top end...
Sunday Morning:
Crows Vs Lions: How i escaped with a cover of +10.5 on the Crows when they were 55 points down at 3 quarter time last week is beyond me As for the Lions, my obsession with Jonathan Brown's groin could only be described as 'unnatural'. He is clearly not 100% at all and he needs time off, but the Lions are playing so badly at the moment they need all hands on deck. I said deck, keep it clean. I don't want to pick either of these two BUT this being gambling and all my early lean is on the Crows ONLY cos its at AAMI stadium.....This could change as the match draws closer so will keep posters informed....
Hawks Vs Blues: After three standout wins in the past month, smug Carlton fans across the nation are coming out of their decade-long hiding to reaffirm their allegiance to the navy blues. Taking their place in the AFL wilderness are Hawks fans, who were a brilliant Sam Mitchell tackle away from suffering footy's ultimate embarrassment; losing to Richmond. That 2008 premiership is looking more like a fluke everyday. Carlton has my hard earned here....
Eagles Vs Saints (Subiaco): Sure, three losses in four rounds isn't ideal but the Saints did beat the Bulldogs the other week/month. It was only three points but good sides win the close ones. That's when the cream rises. Where's Nick Riewoldt Ross?? He will be back for finals wont he?? Bad runs can last eight weeks. It's only a dip in form. Say it's so, Ross, tell me you are going to be OK. You won't lose to the Eagles will you...? Slight lean on the Eagles but will not comitted either way as yet...
