Rewatching Killing Zoe for the millionth time

Great offbeat heist movie set in Paris. Eric Stoltz foks a hooker (prime Julie Delpy ), does a lot of drugs then proceeds to crack open a vault that contains a ridiculous number of gold bars. Crazy Frenchmen cause troubles every 5 minutes. Oh and Ron Jeremy gets shot in the chest during a 2-second cameo.

Its IMDB rating has been creeping up over the years. I remember it being a 5.5 a long time ago - it's now at 6.3.

It's not a great movie in the grand scheme of things, but it's certainly a great film noir. Dark, dirty & crazy atmosphere. Co-lead actor Jean-Hughes Anglade plays one of the great villains in recent movie history.

Just got done with it - the HD copy I downloaded has extended scenes that I'd never seen before on DVD/VHS.

Always a satisfying watch.
