Like many times before, I hear an eastern European influence. Are you aware of that and is that something you are aware of doing - or is it just who you are?

obviously it is who I am.

But it's an interesting point. I play what sounds good and natural to me. I also probably do a lot of things in that light. And the perception that I assume others would have on things may often be inaccurate.
Now this may be do to various factors internal and external, and I should probably pay more attention to it if I was younger and more goal oriented
I'm curious though, what is this Eastern European stuff that you've been listening to?

It would be very hard for me to put into words what I am talking about in terms of the eastern European influence. It is a certain melodic turn. I know it when I hear it but, I dunno, maybe if I knew how to read music and whatnot I could come up with a technical explanation of the pattern that triggers the recognition - but it's just there.
