Does anyone know where to get fairly inexpensive fish tanks &systems, or where I can find accurate information
on tropical fish?

I've been researching online, though it seems every where has something different to say.
Not sure if any one here knows much about fish, but I just thought I would ask.

Oh RR there was one night and I got fokkin JACKED too....I posted about it in SZ but here's what went down....

We were there, I walked to I was pretty much blacked out.
We run into this "old friend" of Cami's who is a lesbian which is cool but looked like a fokkin nasty trannie in her worn out sundress with her line in front of both of us to Cami being "if you want to fuck right, come back to my place" which normally I'd find funny and cool if the chick was the least bit cute but this girl was just fokkin nasty and dumb.

So anyway they talk we all sit around the a bit. Cami wants to head back to their place after closing time so I oblige I'm like whatever we'll probably stay there. I mean you can pretty much stay wherever if it's cool right? Like 2 miles away?

Not the case here RR. I get there, and it's fokkin dry. I get guilt tripped "here's our last shot of rum" wtf did I come over for? Chick slaps on some music on the TV and me and Cami are standing there with our thumbs up our asses. So then this girl starts arguing with her tiny submissive lesbian girlfirend upstairs. Cami goes upstairs and I'm left with...this....thing. No clue how old she/he was looked really young though. Starts snorting something, asks me if I want to get high I'm like what is that....then I decide we are getting the fok out of there so I yell for Cami and I say to this Lesbo returning her classy line in the bar "You are trying to FUCK my fiancee" you know half playing half serious like she was in the bar....she gets all drama queen "you have to break up with him for saying that!" I'm laughing my ass off because all I did was return her joke but I knew in advance what her reaction would be and I was just trying to get the fok out of there.

What pissed me off is I had to either drive a few miles blacked the fok out or wake up in that environment....and the cops are VERY aggressive here about DUIs.

We saw them in ther ethe other night no one acknowledged eachother :megaman:

Yup I'm the bad guy to them and I don't care don't ever want to be around that shit again :yes:

The cheapest tank I can find that comes with the hood, and filter is like 60 bux.
Still trying to find the best deal on a pump, and the airline tube is long, so how would I get it to stay put and not move around?
Also, is there anything I need I am not thinking of?
tank, filter, pump...water conditioner, test strips, the cheapest but best syphon i found was 40 bux and would doubtfuly reach the sink from wgere the tank would be.

any suggestions?

woooo easy there turbo.

I'd like to start with don't enter this hobby if you plan to cheap/cut every turn. That won't work in the long run and I'd recommend trying another venture.

Can you link these tanks you are talking about? Why do you need a syphon?

Let's back up.

What kind of fish/corrals/plants do you want to have in your home? Then we can build a system that allows for their success and your pleasure.
 
Everything I have found so far is on amazon, nothing bought yet, just checking shit out.
We would like freshwater tropical fish.

We have two goldfish and a live plant, though we need to get a new tank and air pump for them as the water is not
oxyginated enough for them.

I do not want to cut corners. I want happy healthy fish and equipment that doesn't cost a buttload, but will last.

As far as plants, that depends on the fish, everything must coincide with the fishes enviroment.

Though I want to set up the tank IA so that is ready for them and there for decreases their stress.
 
Cami plommers advice to you is this:

No matter how much you actually pay for your stuff make sure to let everyone know that you got it for much cheaper than you really did.

We are all about getting the best price, pal.

Sometimes plommer will pay a girl $40 to do nasty things with him for 15 minutes but tell everyone he only paid $30.
