I remember I watched his japanese horror movie reviews back in 2009. That is how I learned about movies such as Audition, Strange Circus, Ichi the Killer etc. And I just found out he died last year of internal bleeding in the pancreas (first time I heard of such cause). R.I.P.
Rodger Swan has a youtube channel with all his past japanese horror movie reviews. They are quiet good, you should check some of them out when you have the chance.
I haven't check out his youtube updates since 2009. I got curious and went back and check if he has more recent movie reviews, and realized he is gone.
