I have been paying an attorney the last 3 months to help fix my credit.
My score has gone up 40 points in that time.

It is now 640.

Still can't get a loan for a pack of gum, but it's a start.

738 and cant even get a line increase on my slate card from chase. Only 1 late payment in my life(total forgot about it), but this didn't even show up on my report, and no negative remarks. Hoping to buy a house here soon and I hear being over 740 is the gold standard for best rate possible.

was 813 when i bought my last car... have paid off every balance every month for over 17yrs....i know i missed a payment or two when i was 19-20, but thats the only damage ive ever done... not sure what you have to do in order to be perfect

Equifax. Not free if you want the actual score. I bought a subscription to their monitoring service a while back cause we're planning to buy a house soon-ish and I need to get my shit together.

Never done a credit check; I am assuming mine is pretty high. Maybe I'll try the free one. I frequently run my credit card up into the
thousands and pay it in full every month and make monthly lump sum payments on my mortgage so I am guessing it should be quite high.
