Gibbs is pretty big.
he is a scorer, but even when he doesn't score. his Deep THREAT is the main cause of concern for his loss.
The guy doesn't get many open looks, opposing defenses know he is a lights out shooter, so the shadow him and fight thru 3 picks or switch on him. Because team's know if you give him an open shot, he'll hit 75% of them.
he's not Athletic though, so there is a trade off. Woodall is the better ball handler and passer, but he is a bit of a liability on defense.
all in all, I know that Gibbs opens things up for the slashers like Brown and Wannamaker to get deep into the lane. and for guys on the blocks to score 1 on 1 with very little help defense.
as far as Taylor. i'm almost certain he won't play. but in big east play, he isn't that big of a factor yet. his season avgs are pumped up due to playing inferior non conf foes.
all in all, Pitt has a very Deep and Athletic bench. They just aren't as well coached in the "Pitt" way of playing ball. I think Gibbs is a big loss, Taylor's loss depends on how the refs are blowing their whistles. Most Pitt big men get called for more than there share of fouls. Taylor comes off the bench an hacks away indiscriminately, and plays energetic because he knows he only has 10-15 mins to play.
without him, the big men bench is a bit short. Literally and figuratively
