Pitching changes in MLB

Who has great information on pitching changes?

Know what I mean? Like I'm seeing a few lines that have moved quite a bit from openers and I am not sure if it is organic or there was a pitching change since openers were posted.

I have a couple crappy inefficient things I can do but I'm just wondering if someone can say, go to such-and-such URL and VOILA, it is all spelled out. This new pitcher was announced at this time - Bob's yer uncle.

I'm using a mix of ShowMeTheOdds, Sports Insights and SBR Odds for what it's worth. They all highlight pitching changes more or less quickly.

I have found SBR Odds to have very bad information at times. I don't trust it.

Like right now, they have Garcia (STL) listed in a different color but I don't think that is new since openers.

One resource I use is the regular Bet365 lines. They show pitching changes and they list a time. Right now, the only thing they are showing is Duke COP 6:39. So I guess that means "Change of Pitcher" and is the time in some other time zone which should be easily figured out.

Really, that seems like it should be the answer to all my problems but I recall having some problems last year.

Garcia was a late replacement (http://stlouis.cardinals.mlb.com/ne...=9178860&vkey=notebook_stl&fext=.jsp&c_id=stl), but I'm not sure if it was after the openers or not. I thought the line looked funny with Carpenter getting +130 and up. Even with Gallardo on the hill that should be about a coin flip line.

The specific Garcia case aside, I kid you not, SBRodds had some crap information on pitching changes at times last year. I'm talking complete crap. Maybe they have gotten their shit together now but I learned through experience not to trust them last year.

They are worse than ever in terms of accuracy on odds histories. Just watch pinny dynamic for a while and compare. It's not even close.

The game that really had me scratching my head was min/CHW.

ML goes from -101/-105 to -136/128

Total goes from UNDER 9 -121 to UNDER 9.5 +100



But no pitching change apparently.

I'm trying to remember what the drawback was with the Bet365 info last year. I'm not sure. Maybe it's that they only list changes since their openers which may not include changes that happened between the openers of the books I want and those of Bet365 ???

I don't know how significant that would be. I remember there was something . . . .
