Last 14 days Phils 16 HR 72 Runs while Cubs 6-53. Last 7 days Phils 6 HR 39 Runs and Cubs 2-27. Last 10 games Cubs .276 and Phils surprisingly .300 against lefties.
Both Moyer and Gorzelanny are 2 pitchers who can give up their fair share of runs. Phils saw Duke last night and this guy is almost a carbon copy. Same pitches but throws a little harder. As long as Moyer gives them 6 inn, hitters should figure out Gorzelanny.
With these staters expect the bullpen to be involved? And I'm liking the Phils bullpen more. Last 14 days Phils 1.46 ERA and Cubs 5.50. Last 7 Phils 1.69 and 4.40. Bigger factor is entire Phils pen is available and well rested. Closer Marmol has pitched 3 of last 4 days. Best set up guy is Sean Marshall and he pitched last 3 days. Who's going to step up tonight?
Expect Utley to be back in lineup which will help. Not getting Halladay run support should have them pissed off tonight and Moyer always seems to get run support. Hate backing Moyer at -145 but .....
