We finally just watched the Strikeforce fights from Saturday. Two losses in a row.

Poor Strikeforce....hitch their wagon to Fedor and Dan Henderson and neither one has been fantastic since joining.

Robyn bet 50 on Bigfoot Silva btw. She pro.

sorry arch, but this shows how little you know about the sport...he walked through absolutely everyone in the heavyweight class in his prime...EVERYONE... and you need to understand that he is about as small of a HW as the sport has ever seen... UFC didnt have shit for heavyweights compared to who he beat in Pride... the guy has some age on him now, but 6-7 years ago he would have walked through every good young UFC HW of today as well... some say he doesnt care as much since he has already gotten his strikeforce money and already planned on retiring, but damn you cant take anything away from Silva either...besides being fucking huge, the guy has a strong jaw for that enormous head and works like Nogeria on the ground...tough combo to overcome...

yeah I think my point is, that the avg joe like me will Never know this. and he'll never get his due

and he'll be remembered by the squares like me for what he has done lately

I think he missed out on a ton of $ fights in his prime as well. deserved or not.

I used to see Andre in a gym here in chicago a few times a week. in 2006-2007. the guy was a monster. I mean you see these guys up close, and see what they do in the gym and its just disturbing almost
 
o i c what you mean...didnt mean it bad or anything and it is a shame that the newer mma fans have little clue that there will never be a more dominant HW probably as long as they live.... yeah, he sorda missed the mega huge boat money, but im sure he is quite comfy...there is no telling how much money he and his camp have made betting on himself in the past...those damn russians

prime fedor still wouldn't beat Cain Velasquez or Dos Santos. He benefited from an extremely under-developed Heavyweight division back in the pride days. Some of his greatest wins were against guys who ended up getting destroyed once they made the jump to the uFc.

i've been fading Fedor since his fight with Brett Rogers.
