well, pool is probably not considered a "sport" but I don't know what word to use and I basically just want to brag for a minute here.

Playing 8-ball last night, I had the most amazing things happen. I did a break-and-run-the-table - which is great for me. It is definitely not something I do every day so I always feel good for the whole week after I do that. No matter how many bad shots I missed through the evening, I can come back to the great spiritual moment of finishing the clearance.

Ahhhhhhh!

Only last night was extra cool because I break and ran the first 6 balls. I had an easy pot on the 7th ball but gaining position on the 8-ball was a little tricky. It was there but I ended up rolling the cueball about a foot too far so not only did I not have optimum position, I hooked myself. :fro:

Okay no sense drawing this out. My only shot was cueball off a bank and into the 8-ball which was basically in the middle of the table. At this point, while I'm definitely doing my best to calculate the angle, I'm mainly just thinking, don't scratch. But damned if I didn't pot the bastard exactly as I was going for!

So the run was 7 shots of great control and brilliance followed by a shot which was probably the equivalent of a golfer chipping in from 120 yards.

I saw the face of god.

been there, it is magical.
I dont play much anymore but when I used to I was either totally off on all shots or dead on.

used to play at a pool hall alot ,
then when at the bar playing on the small tables it was like playing bball on a 8' goal
