Friday was so spectacularly, weirdly fucked. I had to listen to it several times.

Obviously she is trying to get some mainstream traction, learning a few dance moves and she's got a proper songwriter stringing together meaningless cliches instead of deep philosophical questions about front seat versus back seat. Could work I suppose. It's all about hype and she's got some of that.
