It is an actual one bedroom house. Tiny, but surprisingly nice inside. Very quiet and shananigan friendly.

So for internet went with Comcast. They claim their High Performance is 12x higher than the DSL shit I have now, so I imagine I'll be as happy as a pig in poo. It seems the Cable internet smashes DSL for the price, so much faster and better.

Going no cable TV for now, downloading and streaming...I mean buying what I want. How long can no cable be tolerable? It's such a scam.

I've managed it for years and it helps that I don't watch a lot of TV. But PBS for my news, MLB.tv for my sports and Netflix for anything else serves it's purpose.

Yeah I figured going in it was either cable TV or high speed internet (higher than DSL) not both; went with the internet because it is more conducive to work and school, feel good about it.

I'm a little worried about Comcast as I was given the hard sell on the "High Performance" package by a guy who was chattinng in broken English on the internet, but if all works fine it ends with a good deal, heck of a lot better cheaper and faster than Verizon DSL.

Yeah I was thinking about the Netflix I might do that. Should be interesting, I'll make a decision about at the end of the semester I guess. Maybe hold out on TV until I can get Sunday Ticket for free or something.

Oh that's right, football's just around the corner
