I don't know anything about this raiders guy other than yeah, he's been around forever. I just mean that longevity on the forums doesn't mean shit.

I think if someone has been on the forums for 10 years and no one accused him of stiffing, that's all you need to know. Why make a bet with a poster then worry if you are getting paid?

I personally know Dsethi and Skinsraj and are friends with both. What does being a blowhard have to do with a forum bet? Every forum has blowhards. I have met probably 300+ posters and most of the tools dont go to Bashes. I can get a pretty good read on them.

I think if they end up winning. I'll just offer to meet up with the guy for in person payment at one of the casinos out his way...

he can give me 800 he can keep the other 325, but he has to get my food and drinks for the night and 50% of his winnings on the 325

They vouched for someone on a money deal who stiffed, pretty large amt. They stayed low-key away from the forums and did pay in full. I know the person owed. I met Dsethi when he went to Notre Dame. I have a pretty good list of stiffs and slow-payers.

OK so I didn't read the post correctly - you're guaranteed to be up at least $25 whatever the outcome. So you're now essentially holding a ticket at +1000 odds where the (probably not 100% accurate) true market value is +544. In that case I'd let the bet ride. You can certainly hedge it out but as Boner pointed out, that is risky if you aren't guaranteed to get a payout if Baltimore get 70 wins.

FV is probably closer to +660. Although, I haven't run numbers for tomorrow yet. I can't imagine Raiders stiffing the wager. He'd take a ton of heat from the posters at Peeps.

At a FV of +660, the wager is worth ~$45.95. Even at +544, the wager is worth ~$70.81.

He should take the buyout.
