I don't know from Panic at the Disco but I once performed Panic which contains a reference to burning down a disco. Maybe that's even where the band got their name??? No idea.

I always felt like Morrissey was the lucky one to meet Johnny Marr.

I mean, Morrissey is a lyrical genius but he was just a poet if not for those Marr chord progressions.

There is a lot more subtlety to the guitar work in the Smith's actual song than I attempted there. There are little transitory chords that I just said, "You know what? I'm not good enough to include that and keep any kind of flow."

Kinda like, "Let's not and say we did."

I recently bought a cd of The Killers, thinking I remember liking some of their songs. It was bloody awful, I was beginning to think it was a different Killers but now it makes sense

Hot Fuss is the best Killers album by far. The follow up, Sams Town, has only one good song (When You Were Young) IMO Wally.
