at all interested or excited about that Endless River thing? I usually don't care for new material from classic bands but reading a little about it sounds like it might be interesting. :dunno: mostly instrumental, based on material from 20 years ago, reminiscent of 70's Floyd stuff. ..is what they're saying

Who me?

They are playing one song on fairly short rotation on one of the stations I encounter through my work week. Which is my awkward way of saying, I have heard it about 4 times now and am pretty used to it.

It isn't doing much for me at all. It reminds me of the most recent David Gilmour solo album which I really did not take a shine to. I gave it a fair shot - listened to it maybe 5 times - then not again.

Mopey, draggy vibe.

That's only one song though; I will keep an open mind if I hear more. I hope this station will showcase some more in the coming months. I have a mild curiosity, but will I actually seek it out beyond that? No immediate plans to.

Fair to say, it has not captured my imagination.

You know, Pink Floyd has been a top-2 band for me forever and they have earned more of a shot than that. Maybe I will go seeking out another few songs at least.

I'm just very self-absorbed and focused on my own crapola these days. It would be handy if the radio station would spoonfeed me some more of the Floyd.

mine too (as far as rock n roll). My other is Black Sabbath, I'm guessing yours isnt. Is it Gordon Lightfoot? Is that considered a band? :dunno:

But yeah, the way they were making it sound I felt I had to try to at least find it on youtube when it comes out.

I might just have to admit that no matter what anyone comes out with is just not gonna matter to me the way it did in childhood(?)
